The organisation carrying out the research via this survey is Natrium LLC, a US-based medical device company, who are developing continuous sodium monitoring.
The aim of the survey
Natrium LLC is developing a continuous sodium monitoring wearable for people living with unstable sodium, including AVP-D (previously named central diabetes insipidus).
The survey is led by Natrium’s founder, who lives with AVP-D himself and started after seeing firsthand how little visibility there is into sodium between lab draws.
The survey aims to understand how people with AVP-D currently monitor and manage their sodium day to day, including how often they test, what tools they use, and where the gaps sit between checks. This is mainly to ensure that the device and subsequent sodium monitoring research is built and developed with actual patient need in mind.
Eligibility criteria of who can take part
Those who have been diagnosed with AVP-D (diabetes insipidus)
Minimum age: 18 years
It can be completed by both caregivers and patients themselves.
Length of time to complete the survey
This is a short, anonymous, online survey, which takes about 10 minutes to complete (or less).
