Adrenal insufficiency factsheet for hospital staff

Factsheet for ambulance staff on adrenal insufficiency

This is an information sheet about secondary adrenal insufficiency that you can give to hospital staff to tell them about your condition and what treatment you need.

You can use this sheet for A&E visits, to give to ward staff or other general healthcare staff. It says what secondary adrenal insufficiency is and makes it very clear that you may need to take replacement steroids or need emergency hydrocortisone.
