We’re coming to Edinburgh for our next Get-Together! These are our in-person conference style events where you get to hear from incredible speakers and meet others affected by pituitary conditions. We can’t wait to bring you all together in Scotland!
We’ll have brilliant talks from medical professionals, and you’ll also have the opportunity to meet trustees, staff and members of The Pituitary Foundation. The day will have plenty of opportunities to meet other people impacted by pituitary conditions, to learn from one another and provide peer support.
About the speakers

Dr Stuart Ritchie – Stuart is a Consultant in Diabetes and Endocrinology at the Western General Hospital in Edinburgh. He also holds the position of Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer at the University of Edinburgh and serves as the regional coordinator for the South East Scotland Pituitary Multidisciplinary Team.

Claire Stirling – Claire is an Endocrine Nurse Specialist in Grampian, Aberdeen, delivering care for patients with endocrine conditions. She helped establish a Gender Identity Nurse Led Clinic and is dedicated to patient centred care, education, and multidisciplinary practice. In 2022, she received a poster award at the SfE BES conference for presenting work on the nurse led gender identity service.
Our speakers will be covering different topics on pituitary care and diagnosis, including steroid education, and there will be lots of time to ask questions.
The day will also include a chance to hear from others from the community!
