Further update on the ongoing desmopressin shortage
We know many people in our community are anxious to hear when the desmopressin nasal spray will be available again. The Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) has given an update to say the spray should be available by the end of November. This is slightly later than the original date given at the start of this shortage, which was September.
Despite the delay from September to November, we believe this is a positive update and that lots of work is being done to solve this issue. However, it is important to note that this new November date is not guaranteed. We will continue to monitor the situation and share any updates, but we are hopeful that the shortage should end soon.
