At the beginning of November our team headed to two different medical conferences BES and BSPED.

BSPED is the British Society for Paediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes and was held in Manchester. It gave us the opportunity to meet with paediatric endocrinologist and inform them about our work. We chatted to many endocrine nurses who may be interested in our vacancy for a paediatric endocrine nurse. It was also great to speak to medical professionals about updating our resources for children.

Staff members Lottie and Darshna and BES.

The British Endocrine Society (BES) conference was in Glasgow, and was a great opportunity to meet with endocrinologists working across the UK. We spoke to so many medical professionals, and handed out many of our new endocrine clinic posters to raise awareness of the services that we offer to those affected by pituitary conditions.

We also met many other support groups, including the Dutch Pituitary Foundation. Working together with other groups working in the pituitary community is really important to us, so it was great to make these connections.

Thank you to all the medical professionals who we spoke to at these events!
