Our experienced staff and volunteers can answer general questions about living with pituitary conditions, and can't offer medical or emergency advice. Our team are not able to help with mental health issues. The helpline will be closed for UK bank holidays.

We will respond to your emails as soon a we are able, but this may take up to 10 working days.

What does the Endocrine Nurse Helpline offer?

The Endocrine Nurse Helpline provides a confidential and non-judgemental service to people with pituitary conditions, their families and friends.

This service delivers appropriate and clear information in a prompt and empathetic manner to enable callers to make informed choices.

Our helplines  cannot become involved in the medical or non-medical management of any individual case.

This service is limited to general information and support, and isn’t a crisis or emergency helpline. We cannot offer medical advice, nor are we experienced to deal with mental health issues.

As we are based in UK, practices, and interpretation of results for other countries can be difficult and medications often differ.

Where else can I get support?

Our helplines are able to speak to pituitary conditions.  In some cases, other organisations may be best placed to support you.

How can I feedback about my experience with the helpline?

How do you use my personal information?

By calling us you are providing consent for us to process your data (details about you) in order to provide you with the information or services you are contacting us about. Your personal details will only be used to provide you with information or services you have requested.

Any data collected will be anonymised to help us in collecting statistics and evaluate our services. Our telephone system has a number display facility. Caller’s telephone numbers to the Endocrine Nurse Helpline may be displayed on the telephone screen. If your number is displayed, this will not be recorded in any means unless you give us permission.
