The Worldwide Adrenal and Pituitary Organisations (WAPO) are looking for people living with acromegaly to take part in a global patient survey.
What is this survey for?
A lot of research into rare diseases is focused on the clinical elements and how diseases are treated and managed. This survey aims to understand what it is actually like to live with acromegaly. This will help to gain insights into patients’ experiences and needs, and what support would be helpful for them. The findings will help inform future improvements in the treatment, care, and support of people living with acromegaly.
Who can take part?
You can take part in this survey if you have a confirmed diagnosis of acromegaly. If you need help completing the survey, you may ask someone else, such as a family member, friend, carer, or another trusted person, to complete it on your behalf.
Anyone with acromegaly can take part. This includes if you are newly-diagnosed, have been diagnosed for a long time or are in remission.
