The Far South West Pituitary Support Group is a friendly and supportive community spread across a vast geographical area – from the Somerset Levels down to Land’s End.
The group currently has over 200 members, and our meetings rotate between our Hospital Endocrine Centres located in Exeter, Plymouth, Taunton, Torbay, Truro, and Yeovil.
We aim to annually hold two meetings (Spring and Autumn) in each Centre, ensuring that our members across our region have direct access to local support close to their home and can access ALL our meetings across the region.
Our meetings are open to anyone affected by pituitary conditions. Partners, family members, and carers are warmly welcomed too, as we recognise the importance of shared understanding and support throughout the medical journey.
At ALL our meetings, you can:
- Meet others living with pituitary conditions.
- Speak directly with medical professionals.
- Share experiences and gain practical support.
- Learn how to advocate for yourself and achieve the best possible outcomes for your individual healthcare journey.
Meetings are generally held in the late afternoon and last for a couple of hours in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
We hope you will join us and become part of our supportive community.
