Gather some friends or your community group and ask everyone to pay an entrance fee to play some games. You could also host a raffle or tombolo during the evening to raise extra money. You’ll have great fun and even raise money whilst doing it.
Our helpline volunteer, Rob regularly holds domino drives. He invites a group of people, and they play 24-30 rounds of dominos or another game in teams of 4. They have a scoring system, and then once all the games are played and the scores added up, they give out prizes to the winners. The group also hold a raffle. Rob says that the evenings are a great way to relax and make new friends.
Once you’ve done your fundraising event, you need to pay the money to The Pituitary Foundation. You could do this via bank transfer, over the phone or using the donation function on our website.
Hosting fundraising events is a great way to support our work supporting people with pituitary conditions, and to raise awareness! You never know what conversations you may have with others who donate money or attend events. If you are planning on hosting an event, please let us know so that we can support you in whatever way we can. Email [email protected].
