When?

Saturday 10th February, 2024
11am - 1pm
St.Oswald's Church Hall, Main Street, Fulford, York YO10 4HJ

Friendly support for anyone affected by pituitary conditions in the York area.

Meetings are a chance to support each other, and learn more about pituitary conditions with people who understand. All are welcome, including friends and family members.

We will have a special guest joining us, Dr Steven Dykes, Deputy Medical Director of the Yorkshire Ambulance Service

Dr Dykes will give a detailed practical demonstration of the emergency injection and a practical reminder of the CPR. You will have an opportunity to practice using syringes and needles in a safe environment under friendly supervision.

It will also be a great opportunity for you to ask any questions you might have regarding emergency care. Please reflect on what you would like to know, so  can use our time with Dr Dykes to its full potential.

If you would like to attend, could I ask everyone to contribute a small packet of biscuits or perhaps a cake (if anyone feels like baking)? Dominika will bring tea bags, coffee, sugar and milk to make sure we stay hydrated! If you have lactose intolerance or any other dietary requirement – could you bring your alternative drink/snack, please?

Please fill out the contact form below if you would like to attend.
