When?

Sunday 08th October, 2023
2 pm - 3.30 pm
Meeting at Millennium Square, next to the planetarium (or big disco ball), One Millennium Square, Anchor Rd, Bristol BS1 5DB

Walking is good for our wellness. It keeps our bodies and minds healthy, giving us a breather from the stresses of daily life and the space to gather our thoughts.

After the successful Wellness Walk for last year’s Pituitary Awareness Month, we would like to host another one this year to give everyone the opportunity to meet others of the pituitary community whilst being outside and strolling around the harbourside.

Don’t worry if you are not up for the walk, you can always meet us afterwards for the Bristol Support Group Meeting at Watershed in the centre of Bristol.

We welcome all to join for the walk and/ or chat and cuppa later, including patients, families, friends, carers and everyone else from the pituitary community.

Please sign up below so we know how many people to expect and can wait for you if you’re late. We are asking for a voluntary donation of £5 but the event is free.

Parking: There is a car park directly at Millennium Square and another cheaper one 5 minute walk away (The Grove Car Park).

Public Transport: The nearest bus stop is called ‘The Centre’ and most buses in Bristol and surrounding area lead there. It is a 5-10 minute walk from there to Millennium Square.
