Registration fee: £20
Minimum sponsorship: £50

The Pituitary Foundation is bringing a great new challenge to our event calendar for 2023, a Firewalk. A thrilling challenge that will involve walking bare foot across a strip of burning wood embers, 20ft long, heated around 800 degrees. No tricks, no special effects. Just you and the fire.

The entry fee is £20 and we ask for minimum sponsorship of £50. You will be provided with a fundraising pack, and the full support of the team to help successfully reach your fundraising target.

You must be 16yrs or older to take part, however, under 18’s need permission from a parent or guardian who must attend on the day.

This event is taking place at Trago Mills in Merthyr Tydfil.
Prior to taking on the firewalk, each participant will need to take part in a safety workshop led by the founder of Time4Change Cliff Mann. With over 20 years experience as a firewalking instructor, Cliff has led thousands of people from all walks of life over those hot coals. He has witnessed the sense of achievement you will feel once you’ve taken those steps.

“It’s just you and the fire. All of your survival instincts are telling you to stay where it’s safe, don’t take the risk. The decision to walk across the coals is life-changing, not because of the Firewalk itself, but because you have consciously decided not to let fear inhibit you. After all if you can walk across hot coals, what else is possible?”
