Tuesday 03rd September, 2024
Time: 7pm - 8pm
Location: Online (zoom)
Join us as we discuss things you may need to consider when you or your child attends school with a pituitary condition. We’ll be joined by Aleha Inayat, who lives with panhypopituitarism, and Zahara Sheikh, a teacher with a particular interest in inclusivity in schools.
During the event , we’ll be discussing:
- Aleha’s story of being a student with a pituitary condition
- Reasonable adjustments
- Medical aspect of a pituitary condition
- Emotional aspects, such as communication
They’ll also be an opportunity for others to share their experiences with attending school, or being a parent.
This event is free and open to all, however we appreciate donations to support anyone affected by pituitary conditions. We do ask that children under 16 attend with a parent.
