Research Opportunity: Pregnant People with multiple Health Conditions

Researchers from the University of Birmingham are looking for people to participate in online surveys: The criteria are people who:

  • have been pregnant in the last 5 years / planning a pregnancy AND
  • have 2 or more long-term physical or mental health conditions,

This includes both physical (e.g. pituitary conditions, diabetes, asthma, kidney disease, epilepsy) or mental health conditions (e.g. depression, anxiety, bipolar, schizophrenia).

They need your help to prioritise a list of mothers and babies outcomes, that researchers should measure in all studies for pregnant people (including those who do not identify as women) with multiple health conditions. This is to create a Core Outcome Set, which will help shape the design of future research studies.

The online survey will take 20 to 25 minutes to complete. The first round will close 31st May 2022. Partners / family members / carers / health or social care professionals are welcome to take part too. We are not able to offer financial reimbursement.
