A big thank you to father and son, Dave and Mark Finlay, who have raised nearly £800 for The Pituitary Foundation this year.

Dave and Mark decided to help raise money for our charity as thanks for the support that The Pituitary Foundation and Liverpool Local Support Group members have given to Dave’s wife, and Mark’s mum, Lesly, who was diagnosed with a growth on her Pituitary gland in 2007.

Mark is the general manager of The Alyn pub in Rossett, North Wales and successfully ran in the Cardiff Half Marathon in October for The Foundation. With the help of his customers and friends he raised £460 in total.  His father, Dave, who is a member of The Innospec Golf Society, raised £250 thanks to the generosity of the Golf Society’s members and also collected £60 from a raffle held at the midlands branch of the Association of British Investigators.
