We are pleased to announce that we have revamped our Patient Care Card.

The original card was included as a pull-out in the Pituitary Patient Fact File and we know that many of you have found this card very useful for recording your details and medications.  The main function of the card is as an extra back-up for patients who are on Hydrocortisone replacement therapy but all patients will find it useful.

It can be used in conjunction with your blue steroid card and medical information jewellery.  The card has ample space to record your personal and hospital details, emergency contacts and medications, and we have included instructions on what action should be taken if you are unfortunate enough to have an adrenal crisis.

The card is A4 size but folds in three, making it still small enough to fit in your bag or pocket.

The Pituitary Patient Fact File  has now been replaced by the Pituitary Patients Handbook and the Care Card is no longer available within the new publication. If you would like a copy of the new Care Card, then please send an A5-size S.A.E. to the National Support Office, Bristol.
