Derby/Nottingham Local Support Group

The Derby/Nottingham Group was re-launched on 3 March 2009 at EnabledArt in Litchurch Plaza in Derby.  This re-launch was also very well attended (even though it was pouring rain and windy) and there was a great deal of enthusiasm and support!  A wonderful evening and this group has decided to meet every other month - so check their site here for the next meeting and if you're in the area - come along!  Just click here for more information.

Guildford & Surrey Local Support Group

Our next meeting will be on Thursday 18th February 2010, 7pm for 7.30pm at the Cedar Centre, Royal Surrey County Hospital. The speaker will be Gail Maguire, who is in charge of The Fountain Centre at the Royal Surrey. The Fountain Centre offers complimentary therapies for cancer patients. Gail will be talking about these therapies that are now available to pituitary patients receiving Radiotherapy at St. Lukes cancer centre, Royal Surrey.

(July 2009)  We are pleased to announce that the Plymouth/Cornwall Local Support Group re-launched on 17 June 2009 at the Plymouth Medical Centre, Derriford Hospital (post code PL6 8DH).  Several local patients and their partners attended and they're already planning their next meetings.  The Plymout/Cornwall Group wants to welcome new members and add to their group so please don't hesitate to contact us should you wish to know more.  Just email helpline@pituitary.org.uk.
