Manchester Young Pituitary Patients Social (MYPPS) is a sub-group of the Manchester Pituitary Support Group. This group is attended by younger pituitary patients around the Manchester area and the main intention is to have good social interaction and form a network of contemporary friends who are in similar circumstances. Events organised so far have included attending gigs and taking part in silk painting and watercolour workshops. If any of us wish to talk about pituitary issues, then we share our experiences, advice and knowledge. Mind you, we usually have plenty to talk about and do outside of health issues too! If you are recently diagnosed with a pituitary problem and would like to be involved, we would love to hear from you and to welcome you at our meetings. The same goes if you are a long-term patient who has only recently discovered or joined the Pituitary Foundation. Keep checking this page for updates of meetings, events and outings. Meeting/Event Dates:
Saturday 12th April: We are meeeting outside the Central Library at 11.00am. From there we will decide where to go for coffee and /or a light lunch. Some of us will then be going to have a look at the Body Exhibition at the Science and Industry Museum. Do come and join us for some or even all of this. |
